Only ~800 deaf individuals have earned a doctorate, in any field including law, in all of known history. I’m proud that some of these recent doctorates got their start in my lab! [list of all deaf doctorates]

Jennifer Chin earned her M.Sc. in Marine Science from University of Otago and is a laboratory technician at Wageningen Marine Research in the Netherlands.

Patrick Conway earned his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Washington and is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft.

Zachary Davenport is finishing his Masters in Public Health at University of Minnesota.

Sarah Gluck earned her M.A. in Auditory Neuroscience at Harvard and is a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Foundation Medicine.

Jenna Greene earned her M.S. in Pharmacology from the Ohio University and is a clinical specialist at the Ohio University Wexler Medical Center.

Brienna Herold earned her M.S. in Information Sciences and Technology from RIT and is a software engineer at Netlify.

Samir Jain earned his M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and is a software engineer for Google.

Trevor Klemp earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. 

Megan Majocha is finishing her Ph.D. in Tumor Biology at Georgetown University and is a predoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health.

Abbi Simons is finishing her Ph.D. in Epidemiology at the University of Maryland. She is an Assistant Professor in the Public Health Program at Gallaudet.

Tom Wankum earned his M.S. in Infectious Diseases from Drexel and is a Senior Associate Scientist at Pfizer.
